Collaborating closely with the in-house graphic design team at StudyTravel, I produced high-quality commercial and editorial content while working strictly within established brand guidelines. I designed bespoke advertisements for international institutions, developed editorial layouts and multi-page spreads, and performed meticulous image manipulation and retouching to ensure all visuals maintained a professional aesthetic and met rigorous print-ready standards.

Operating in a very competitive B2B print and digital space, which is read by thousands of industry professionals in well over 100 countries, these half-page horizontal spreads were all about grabbing attention immediately. The images were, of course, striking, and the typographic hierarchy was extremely clean to stand out on the page, build instant institutional credibility, and powerfully communicate the value of the study programmes to agents looking for global partnerships.
For the StudyTravel Magazine feature spreads, we applied a disciplined grid and strict typographic rules to turn long-form industry insights into highly readable editorial layouts.
By getting the body copy, custom drop caps and the use of pull quotes right and combining that with some very strong visual callouts, we created clear information hierarchies across the double-page spreads. We made every design decision (leading, alignment, colour-coded infographics, etc.) with the publication guidelines in mind to deliver the clearest possible message to a professional B2B audience.
